WHAT MOMS LOVED

“My kids behaved like little rascals and I went home pretty disappointed.

When I got the final products, I was open-mouthed.

She clearly put hours into the editing.”

- Aliza Blackman

“Esther has a knack for positioning and doesn’t get annoyed when the kids keep moving out of place

How to prepare for your family photo session

So you can revel in the beauty that is your family

Family Photo

1.

Book well in advance

So we can accommodate your family’s schedule and needs.

Pro Tip:

Booking morning sessions for your family photoshoot is strongly recommended. This way we can ensure that kids (and adults) of all ages are well-rested and happy.

2.

Choose your favorite outfit

You're welcome to bring an alternate set of clothing. We are happy to get additional poses and shots in the second ensemble - if all family members are up for it.

Pro Tip:

Choosing an outfit that suits the whole family can be overwhelming— I’d love to help you. Share some inspo images you find and any specific requests. I’ll pass along links of items that I think are a good match for the look you are going for.

3.

Coordinate the outfits so all kids are matching

Coordinating colors for all family members enables us to capture sharper photos.

Spring and Summer = whites, pinks and denims

Autumn = brown, rust, beige, cream

Winter = white, cream, gray

Pro Tip:

Have something else in mind? You can still get beautiful photos in other styles and colors. Let me know the direction you were thinking so we can avoid any potential color issues.

4.

Bring along another adult

It is recommended that large families bring along an adult that will not participate in the picture, so there is an extra pair of hands to help with styling, positioning, etc.

Pro Tip:

When asking someone to join you, keep in mind, you want that person to be someone your children are very comfortable with and can make the little ones laugh.

Photoshoots are not timed
(Please allow for 1-2 hours)

Taking photos of your family is a fun experience.

No time limit allows for the making of memories during the photoshoot.
